Commercial, industrial and government — with the occasional residential project for an existing client. Our typical project value is $50K to $15M. We run as the general contractor on most of our work, and as a specialty subcontractor for restoration, concrete and masonry, civil work and leasehold improvements when another GC needs a trade partner.
The Greater Toronto Area is our base — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Burlington — but we work across Ontario, including Northern Ontario (we have an active OPP project in Schreiber). Most of our crew and pricing competitiveness sits within a 90-minute drive of our Concord office, and we travel for the right project.
$5M commercial general liability, $5M umbrella, automobile liability, and pollution liability where required. WSIB clearance current. Performance and labour-and-material payment bonds available through our surety on request — typical for federal, provincial and major-municipal contracts.
Yes. All our PMs and supervisors carry current AODA Customer Service and Integrated Accessibility Standards training. Our barrier-removal and accessibility-retrofit work meets AODA Built Environment standards. We've done accessibility upgrades on government, school-board and institutional projects across the GTA.
Yes. We carry contractor security clearance for sites that require it (OPS, federal facilities), Working at Heights, WHMIS/GHS, First Aid/CPR, and trade-specific licenses. Compliance is tracked per-person against per-project requirements through our internal compliance system (built into Archetree).
Stipulated price (CCDC 2) for fully-designed scope. Construction management (CCDC 5B) when phases need to start before design is complete. Design-build for projects under $1M where the consultant team is light. Pricing turnaround is 7–10 days for typical fit-outs, 2–3 weeks for heavier scope.
Routine work — typically 2–3 weeks from contract signature to mobilization, depending on permits and scope. Make-ready and small-works tickets through our facility-services program — usually within 48 hours.
We do, selectively. We have an active AODA exterior project at the OPP detachment in Schreiber, Ontario. We've worked in Kingston, Niagara, Muskoka, and Hamilton. The further out the project, the higher our mobilization cost — for work outside the GTA, we'll be transparent about that in pricing.
Most of our work is in occupied buildings — that's our specialty. Class-A office towers with other tenants on the same floor, government buildings with the public on site, hospitals with patients in adjacent rooms, distribution centres with the plant running. We work after hours, on weekends, with dust walls, fire watch and ICRA protocols when needed.
Archetree is the construction-intelligence platform we've been building over the last six years. It runs our active projects — reading drawings, estimating, scheduling, scope extraction, field ops, finance, compliance — and we're opening early access to other GCs through 2026. Drydel's services and Archetree are separate products. See Archetree →
Yes. We have an established surety relationship and can post performance bonds, labour-and-material payment bonds, and bid bonds for federal, provincial and major-municipal contracts. We're pre-qualified through MERX, Bonfire and BGIS Marketplace.
Standard one-year general warranty on construction work, two years on roofing and waterproofing, manufacturer warranties pass through to the owner with our endorsement. Heritage and restoration work carries warranty terms specific to the materials and methods used — we document these in the close-out package.
